Engineer, researcher,
and reluctant desk-dweller.
I'm a researcher in environmental engineering with a deep focus on particulate matter, monitoring, modeling and forecasting.
My work sits at the intersection of environment, particulate matter assessment, and machine learning-based prediction. Much of my research targets the air quality modeling of complex terrains, particularly in regions like foothills of the Indian Himalayas, where the geographic terrain complexity is paramount in trapping the particulates.
When I'm not running simulations or drafting journals, I'm almost certainly planning a trek, a roadtrip, or a long train journey. I find it interesting that both travel and research involve going somewhere unfamiliar and trying to understand what you find there.
